JUSTINE CLARKE - GREAT BIG WORLD TOUR THE FAIRIES FAVOURITES 2010 TOUR SARAH BLASKO

JUSTINE CLARKE - GREAT BIG WORLD TOUR

Title:  JUSTINE CLARKE - GREAT BIG WORLD TOUR
When:  Monday 23 August @ 10am
Where:  Nambour Civic Centre - Main Hall ; Sunshine Coast
Details:

Justine Clarke, one of Australia’s most accomplished and admired performers, returns to the stage to thrill and delight preschoolers across Australia!

Following a run of east coast dates last year, this July Justine begins an extensive national tour bringing to life her many fantastic fun-filled tunes as she sings and dances her way through a magical near-hour long show.

Justine’s latest show explores the music and colour of her new CD & DVD release Great Big World (ABC/Roadshow), journeying over land and under the sea before arriving at the end of the rainbow. What does she find there?

The show also includes sing-a-long favourites from Justine’s previous releases I Like to Sing and Songs To Make You Smile, accompanied by a live band of fine musicians who bring great skill and plenty of entertainment for the little ones and big ones.

"The shows are always about making music and especially singing, together," says Justine. "Our voices are our first instruments and I think if we enjoy singing early on then we may have opened up a great big world of learning and appreciation for music. It's also just great, wholesome fun!"
Justine Clarke, a beloved long-term Play School presenter, is a versatile performer - an acclaimed film, television and stage actress as well as an accomplished jazz singer. Justine is also a mother of three.

An actress since childhood, Justine became a household name playing ‘Roo’ in Home & Away at 16-years old. Numerous TV credits include Love My Way and Tangle of which she has just completed filming a 2nd series and was this year nominated for the ‘Most Outstanding Actress’ Logie.

Film credits include Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, Japanese Story, Danny Deckchair and the highly acclaimed, award-winning Look Both Ways. Justine also frequently performs for the Sydney Theatre Company.

“Whether it’s singing or acting on stage, performing live is where I get my kicks,” says Justine. “Music-related live performance with little kids is incredibly satisfying because they are so willing to participate and have a good time. Everybody’s there to join in, parents included.”

Justine Clarke’s Great Big World tour heads to the following areas in Queensland:
20th August - Brisbane; 24th August - Redcliff ; 25th August - Gold Coast; 26th August Logan; 27th August Chandler

Pink fairy Rhapsody had just this to say “singing and dancing on stage is my most favourite thing ever!”

Perennial superstar Elf the Fairy Cake Maker rejoins The Fairies Touring Cast this year, while Barnaby the BizzyBuzzy Bee gets up to his usual madness, buzzing around with his friends and being as silly as can be.
